Our experts have created dedicated Python, R, and QGIS tutorials for this event to guide you through downloading and working with Copernicus data via WEkEO.

Guidelines Python Tutorial

Two options are shown on the right to access the Python tutorial (Jupyter Notebook) developed for this training session.

Note: you need to register (free of charge) to access the WEkEO JupyterHub.

You can also watch the video demonstration of the tutorial and follow along step by step.

Option 1

Run the Notebook on the JupyterHub

You can run the notebook directly on the JupyterHub, which will be available to you during the event.

The notebook can be accessed via the link below, in the “wekeo4training” folder, then the “training_natural_disasters” folder (available a few days before the event).

Prefer working locally? Click the button below to download the tutorial and its associated files, and run everything on your own machine.

Download the NetCDF2QGIS Plug in

To open NetCDF files in QGIS, you will need to download the NetCDF2QGIS plugin, which is available for free.
