Earth Sessions – Ecosystem Health is a 2 half day training session designed to explore how Earth Observation can support the monitoring of environmental change and the assessment of ecosystem condition using data and tools available through the WEkEO platform. 

Through real-world use cases, participants will discover how Copernicus data can be combined to better understand ecosystem dynamics, identify environmental pressures, and support informed decision-making. 

The training will also feature demonstrations of WEkEO tools and applications, alongside hands-on tutorials in Python, R and QGIS, providing practical examples of how to access, process, analyse and visualise Earth Observation data within a range of ecosystem monitoring workflows.

What are Earth Sessions?

Earth Sessions are dedicated online events designed to help users unlock the full potential of WEkEO, which provides access to Earth Observation data on climate, atmosphere, land, and ocean. These sessions offer expert presentations, live technical demonstrations, and hands-on experiences to ensure participants can confidently access, use, and apply this data for science, policy, and operational needs.
